Reflections by Adrian Lopez

The presentation on Friday, June 5, was spectacularly developed, all teams demonstrated a well-advanced content mastery, and developed smoothly. It was a very entertaining class loaded with a lot of content and information, countless topics developed that helped me to have a greater understanding of how communication works in society. In total, three teams were presented, the teams were made up of 11 people in total. Each member was responsible for different topics. The presentations were developed through PowerPoint which I found particularly good since I give fluidity to the presentations, I get a good impression of all my classmates

My team developed Chapter 9, in my opinion we present in a fluid and easy to understand way. Chapter 9 contains about 33 topics  which we divide evenly, the  topic that most struck me was that of sex and  gender since it gave me a very accepted view on that subject. I found it very interesting as most people in the U.S. mix these two things without considering that they are completely opposite. Sex is a biological characteristic with which we are born, and the simple gender is an orientation, communication patterns learned.

For me, the day of the presentation was a great day as I was incredibly nervous about how I was going to handle the time arrival. But thanks to my teammates everything went well they did an excellent job, they prepared presentations loaded with content with all kinds of ingenious ideas. The teacher was a bald piece for the presentations to come out the way they came out, I support us very much and I clarify all kinds of doubts that were emerging during the project. It was very comforting that the teacher gave us merit for making the presentation, one of the things that took me from this experience is the caress and dedication of the teacher.

As in all things there were failures, I was one of them I was wrong in the order of my slides when exposing, a small  confusion that we fixed almost at the moment to maintain the good pace that we were carrying up to that moment. on the other computers there were also slides, the  website was a little confusing that caused one other confusion when it came to sharing the content.

When I took this class I thought that because of the situation of covicd-19 it was going to be very difficult as it is a communications class and I thought that not being able to be in the classroom would make things difficult. But this project was not demonstrated, we were able to make presentations of excellent quality from the comfort of our homes and maintaining the security that is the most important thing in these turbulent times. This presentation was more than a class project, my opinion is that it was one more victory against the virus that plagues the country and terrifies so many people. The presentations of all my colleagues was like a call to calm a message that I communicated that if you can and that we will not be defeated
